Rice – 250 grams or 2 medium bowls
Cumin seeds – one spoon
Ghee – one teaspoon
Raisins – 8 to 10 whole
Salt – according to taste
Method of making Jeera Rice recipe.

First of all, we will take rice as per the above mentioned method, in this we always have to use simple rice. Take 2 bowls of rice and fry it well. Then take a vessel with a narrow mouth in which soft rice is prepared. Keep all the other ingredients ready as well. Heat the vessel on the gas and add ghee to it. When the ghee is heated properly, add cumin seeds to it. When the cumin seeds are ready to be roasted, add washed rice to it and add water of double the quantity of rice taken. Keep some water from it. Now add salt to it. Now open the vessel on the gas and cook on a very low flame. When the rice is half cooked, add some water to it and cover it for 5 minutes. Also add raisins. When the rice starts to curl after cooking, add finely chopped coriander to it and serve it with hot dal.
